The Ghost of You Lingers by Spoon (2007)

This track seems to be blowing up and showing up on a lot of MP3 blogs. I liked Gimme Fiction, their last album in 2005 (actually hadn’t known them prior). This is the first from their new release, apparently, and I’ve heard references to Phillip Glass and “minimalist outing” and “relentless piano” and “Chopsticks” — though obviously not all of these were complimentary.

Whatever, I think the track is excellent.
